Sun Win Streak Grows to Four
The Connecticut Sun clinched a berth in the WNBA playoffs on Tuesday night, after the Indiana Fever lost to the Dallas Wings. The Sun are now 17-12 on the season and have won four straight games.
Natisha Hiedeman Leads the Way
Natisha Hiedeman led the Sun with 22 points, while Alyssa Thomas added 19 points and eight rebounds. DeWanna Bonner also chipped in with 17 points.
The Sun have been playing well lately, with wins over the Las Vegas Aces, Minnesota Lynx, and Chicago Sky. They are now tied for fourth place in the WNBA standings.
Fever's Hopes Dwindle
The Fever, meanwhile, are now 5-20 and have lost three straight games. Their playoff hopes are dwindling, as they are now four games behind the eighth and final playoff spot.
The Sun will next play the New York Liberty on Thursday night. The Fever will face the Mystics on Friday night.
